Hard to believe it has been just over 18 months since Etica Group expanded to add environmental services. During this time, we have been able to serve our internal teams, external existing clients, and add a few new clients as well. We are pleased to share the group is growing and have an intern for the summer as we look to expand the team based on our current success. So, thank you to all those who have added us to their teams.
Curious what we have been working on?
The environmental team is fortunate to be working on 15 projects with another handful kicking off soon, hence growing the team to continue to best serve you all. These projects include:
Small Structures
Bridges
Trails
Curb Ramps
Roadway Improvements
Site Development
What has made these projects successful?
While the environmental process has a fairly rigid structure, if it isn’t managed well, it can have drastic impacts on the project schedule, causing unwanted delays. From the very beginning of each project, our team outlines red flag concerns, plan components to be considered and timelines to match each Stage of plan development. We’re also not afraid to call in a few favors when things get hairy.
We do our best to maintain regular project communication, even if there is no new news! Our experience with all types of projects allows us to anticipate problems and stay ahead of them. But don’t take our word for it, the proof is in the results.
Results
We are fortunate to have 5 different projects with a total of 14 scores across 5 of the INDOT districts. The scores reflect Initial Review and Overall Experience for Red Flag Investigations, Wetland Delineation/Waters Determination and Environmental Documents. We have an average of 0.25 with comments such as “Great communication”, “Consultant provided rapid revisions” and “Overall good document”.
